The new ad for Dolly Parton’s new album “Dolly Partons World” shows the singer and guitarist dressed up as a young Dolly in the video for the song’s catchy title, and it’s a reminder that kids are sometimes able to take things a step too far.
The spot features a young boy, who is dressed up like a Dolly and playing with a toy that looks like an adult.
As part of a larger campaign, the ad is paired with a child’s face, which is then blurred out.
It also includes a child playing with his hands.
The child’s image is obscured with a black outline.
As part of the campaign, The Washington Pivot is releasing a series of ads highlighting the importance of respecting kids’ privacy and ensuring children can have an equal voice.
