Posted October 08, 2018 06:38:29A Missouri judge has agreed to dismiss a lawsuit by a mother who says a judge who is biased against her because of her race is an “absolute idiot” who can’t see how the system works.

In a rare twist in the saga, a judge in St Louis County ruled Friday that a lower court judge was wrong to dismiss the lawsuit filed by Rachel Odom, whose son, Kip, is being cared for by the judge.

Odom, of St Louis, filed the lawsuit in May alleging that Judge Mark Schoenfeld, who has been overseeing the case since 2014, made discriminatory remarks toward her, discriminated against her by making the judge her chief counsel, and made her a target of sexual harassment.

She says she is seeking $10 million in damages.

Schoenfeld has not responded to a request for comment.

Odoms attorney, Brian Kelleher, said in an email that the lawsuit has been dismissed.

Schneidfeld was appointed to the bench in 2005, and is the first African-American to serve as a judge.

Odom filed the complaint in 2015, but the lawsuit was dismissed in May.

Odivas lawsuit was based on an incident in October 2014, when she was told by a judge that her son, a foster son of Odom’s, would not be getting child support.

That case was later dropped, and Odom appealed the decision.
