KENDRICK HEATHERSON/REUTERS A mum who had to pay $3,500 to pay off child support is struggling with a £20,000 bill from her ex-partner who owes her £4,000.
The teen drama’s fourth season of the reality series is set to begin on Friday.
In a clip from the show, Heathers daughter, Jaden, explains how she was forced to pay her ex for three months of child support in August 2017.
She then had to repay the money to her ex in December after a divorce, and her husband, David, had taken his own money to pay the arrears.
“My child support was £1,500, which was a ridiculous amount of money,” Heathers said.
“The amount I had to make up with my ex is £5,000, which I am just so, so, desperate for.”
When we were getting into a dispute, it was very difficult for me to see that it was going to be a year between us.
I was very concerned for Jaden’s wellbeing.
“He is a wonderful, caring person, and I hope that in the end we will be able to resolve this together.” “
I don’t think I have any idea what to say to him,” Lapkus said in the clip.
“He is a wonderful, caring person, and I hope that in the end we will be able to resolve this together.”
The mum said she was still working out how to repay her ex, who she believes is owed more than £4.5m.
She said her ex’s lawyer had advised her to use her own money.
“It was very, very hard,” Heather said.
‘I feel so desperate’ Jaden said her father and mother had helped her by paying her bills but that her sister, Emma, had been too busy caring for their two children.
“They have done everything for me,” Jaden told MTV News.
“There is nothing they can do.
I really don’t have anything to say for them.” “
That is my mother and father.
I really don’t have anything to say for them.”
Heathers explained she had to give up her job as a nurse to support her family.
“For me, it’s been a real struggle to find my feet,” she said.
A statement from the family solicitor said they were unable to comment because of privacy laws.
“As the show has progressed, Jadens daughter has become aware of her father’s ongoing debts and has become concerned about the consequences that this may have for her family,” the statement said.
Jaden and Heathers family had already taken a financial hardship step to help pay for their daughter’s education.
Their daughter Emma said Jaden was in a bad financial position and needed to get on with her life.
“She has been living with us since she was 12 years old and she hasn’t been able to get a job,” Emma said.
