MACKENZIE CREEK, Sask.
– A new movie based on the bestselling children’s book “Operation Christmas Child” is coming to the big screen on December 8, 2017.
The film is being directed by the legendary Canadian director Mackenzie Child and features the voices of the famous characters from the book.
Mackenzie and her sister, Emma, are two young orphans who find their way into the lives of the characters.
They discover they have been chosen to be part of a special team of children who will rescue the world from evil.
“It is the ultimate team-up of a love story and a family saga, both of which are based on true events,” said Mackena Childs.
This film is an adaptation of the book, which has been a worldwide bestseller.
Childs, a Canadian director known for her work on “Gangs of New York,” wrote the script with a young screenwriter.
Children’s Play 2: Christmas Wonderland is a remake of the 1989 movie that starred Meryl Streep, which was nominated for an Academy Award.
